Colosses for Kazakstan
Our Belgian teams have organised the transport of two amine absorbers from Willebroek (Belgium) to Kazakstan. Both pieces used for gas reffinery weighted 650 tons and were 41 and 71 meters long for 6 and 7 meters wide. They were transferred from Willebroek to Antwerp as roro on a SPMT (Self Propelled Modular Trailer) because of their sizes. The transport continued towards Mariupol (Ukraine) on a heavy-lift vessel. Then the cargo was discharged by a ships crane and further transported by a local roro pontoon to its final destination Atyrau in Kazakstan to our customer’s satisfaction.
